Diameter is measured in millimetres (mm) and printed on the wheel. Larger wheels (60\u201362mm) roll faster and hold speed better; smaller wheels (58\u201359mm) accelerate quicker and sit lower, which some skaters prefer for agility work. Check your plate and boot have enough clearance before sizing up \u2014 a larger wheel needs more room to turn without rubbing.<\/p>\n
Wheel hardness is measured on the durometer “A” scale and is stated by our supplier on every listing \u2014 we have not independently tested it. As a general guide:<\/p>\n

There’s no single “correct” hardness \u2014 it depends on your floor and your skating style.<\/p>\n Bearings<\/h2>\nAll wheels on this site use the standard 608 bearing size (8mm bore, 22mm outer diameter, 7mm width) \u2014 the size used in the overwhelming majority of quad and inline skates. Bearings are sold separately unless a listing says otherwise.<\/p>\n Socks & wristbands<\/h2>\nOur socks are sized in UK shoe sizes (3\u20135 or 6\u20138) as stated by the supplier.
