Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026. These terms apply to every order placed on 5thblocker.shop.
1. Who we are
5TH BLOCKER SKATES LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Scotland — full registration details on our Legal Information page. Contact: support@5thblocker.shop.
2. Products
We sell quad skate wheels, bearings, laces, toe guards, bags, tools, socks and wristbands. We do not sell protective equipment (helmets, knee pads, wrist guards) and none of our products should be relied on for impact protection. Product descriptions and specifications (material, size, hardness) are as supplied by our manufacturers and sourcing partners; we have not independently tested them.
3. Prices & currency
Prices are shown and charged in the currency you select: US Dollars (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Canadian Dollars (CAD) or Australian Dollars (AUD). Our base prices are set in US Dollars; prices in other currencies are converted at exchange rates we set and review regularly. The total shown at checkout, including delivery, is the amount you pay us. Prices do not include any import duty, local sales tax or customs handling fee your country may charge on delivery (see Shipping & Import Duties). We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order you make an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm dispatch. Clicking the checkout button places an order with an obligation to pay. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item turns out to be out of stock — in which case we refund you in full.
5. Delivery
Orders are fulfilled by our sourcing partners and may be dispatched from outside the UK. See Shipping & Import Duties for costs, timing and import charges.
6. Cancellation, returns & faults
You have a 14-day cancellation right and statutory rights for faulty goods — see Returns & Cancellation. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Payment
Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout once payment is enabled on the store. We do not store your full card details. Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor once connected — see Payment & Security.
8. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
9. Liability
We are liable for losses you suffer as a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting without reasonable care, up to the price you paid for the relevant item, except where the law does not allow us to limit or exclude liability (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). We are not liable for indirect or business losses.
10. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own part of the UK as well as in Scotland.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time you order.
12. Language
These terms are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; if a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection in the country you live in.
